OUR SHEPHERD HUT IN NEW FOREST!

We took a short but sweet break away down to the heart of New Forest. Putting our phones away and relaxing in our very own shepherd hut. We arrived on the Friday to Alex our Airbnb host, who showed us around the small yet comfortably sized home on wheels. With decking that overlooked a long yard, and behind the hut a woodland of large oaks. There was plenty of farm animals surrounding us; pigs, sheep, horses, ducks, chickens, etc — all of which being pleasantly quiet.
A BBQ on the decking along with a fireplace, a large pillow to sprawl out on & of course the jacuzzi. The tour of the shepherd’s hut is a quick one... through the dutch door and you find yourself central hut, double bed to the left with just a low step and you’re cosy as can be. Kitchen & bathroom to the right, although one may think it was cramped we managed to get around just perfectly. A bottle of bubbly, breakfast provided and marshmallows for the fire, we were sorted — Ready to feel right at home! Within minutes we were in the Jacuzzi, bubbly open and music blaring. A fire & marshmallows to end the night, with the sunset through the woodland and the stars overhead — And then the zzz’s came! (be warned acorns drop on hut, making massive bangs on the roof, this scared myself half to death!).
All-in-all we had a fabulous time in the Shepherd Hut and we would strongly recommend it to anyone who was down in that area! I’m positive we will be back to visit the shepherd hut once more.
